# Categories

### Overview

Categories are built to define the industries of clients you work with. For example a fitness agency may work with the following *(Cross Fit Gyms, Yoga Studios, Martial arts, Kickboxing)* and others

Each of these can be their own category and assigned to each individual client.

**🔔 Lead Cost Alerts:** When you set a lead cost for a category, any client assigned to this category with a lead cost higher than the set cost will trigger an optimization alert.
